Upgrade Tagriffet Control Building
VEBA Oil Operations. (Petro Canada)
The project comprises of construction of a new control
room building with steel portal frame, block walls and sandwich
panel roof. The work also includes design and installation
of HVAC system, telephone, electrical, general and emergency
lighting, sanitary and waste water system, potable water
system, fire water, fire fighting and fire alarm systems.
Work is in progress as per approved schedule.
Concreting works for Nalut Flow Control Station (NFCS) Regulating
Tank

Nalut, Gadames-Zwara-Al Zawiah Water System for Great
Man-Made River project, Libya
The work comprises of civil construction of 70,000 cubic
meter capacity regulating tank with specialized formwork
for columns, walls and roof panels. The work involved about
12678 cubic meters of concrete work and 2100 tons of rebar
fabrication and installation. Work is in progress and is
expected to be completed ahead of schedule.
Construction of Reservoir Tanks at Gharyan Water Supply Project

Gharyan Water Supply Project PH-2, Gharyan, Libya
The work comprises of civil construction of 4 No. reservoir
tanks with capacities ranging from 1000 to 3000 cubic meter
with specialized formwork for columns, walls and roof panels.
The work involved about 3091 cubic meters of concrete work
and 500 tons of rebar fabrication and installation. Work
is in progress as per approved schedule.
Concreting Works of Pumping Stations 1 and 2
Al Nahr Company (Fully owned by Great Man-made River
Authority)
Gadames, Gadames-Zwara-Al Zawiah Water System for Great
Man-Made River project, Libya
The work comprises of civil construction of two 20,000
cubic meter capacity forebay tanks, two pumping stations
with electrical buildings, chlorination buildings, feeder
tanks, shafts and other appurtenant structures. The work
involved about 16738 cubic meters of concrete work and 2500
tons of rebar fabrication and installation. Both forebay
tanks and pumping stations with electrical buildings have
been completed ahead of approved schedule. Work on the remaining
appurtenant structures is progressing as per approved schedule.
Construction of 2000 living units and service buildings
Housing Infrastructure Board, Tripoli, Libya.
The original project comprised of development of a master
plan over an area of 102 hectares along with design and
construction of 2000 living units and associated public
buildings near the city of Alkhoms, district Almarqab. However
on 26 November 2008 the scope of development of master plan
increased from 102 hectares to 237 hectares and as per changed
requirements a new master plan accommodating 3450 units
and associated public buildings has been prepared and submitted.
In addition to the housing units urban plan includes service
buildings, public buildings, parks and roads. Utilities
like water, power and sewerage for the development project
are integrated with the regional infrastructure.
Mobilization has been completed at site and client approval
for buildings and master plan is awaited to commence work.
The work is expected to be completed within the stipulated
construction period of 27 month after receipt of design
approval and site hand over.
Concreting Works of Pumping Stations 3 and 4

Aljuwaibiyah, Gadames-Zwara-Al Zawiah Water System for
Great Man-Made River project, Libya
The work comprises of civil construction of one 20,000
cubic meter capacity forebay tank, two pumping stations
with electrical buildings, chlorination buildings, feeder
tanks and other appurtenant structures. The work involved
about 11333 cubic meters of concrete work and 1900 tons
of rebar fabrication and installation. Work on the last
pumping station is in progress as per approved schedule.
All the remaining works have been completed ahead of schedule.
Construction of Maintenance workshop at Samah Oilfields for Waha
Oil Company
Industrial Engineering Company
The scope of work comprised of design and construction
of a workshop for welding, AC repair and equipment maintenance
with covered area of 3000 sqm. The steel structure consists
of 8m high and 20m span portal frames with provision of
two gantry cranes of 5 and 10 tons. A mezzanine floor with
composite roof construction provides space for storage,
facilities and offices. Being a fast track project, design
along with procurement of off shore materials was completed
well ahead of construction schedule. Further activities
are on hold due to client pending contractual obligations.
Construction of Al-Juawaibiyah Regulating Tank at Nalut

Aljuwaibiyah, Gadames-Zwara-Al Zawiah Water System for Great
Man-Made River project, Libya
The work comprises of civil construction of 70,000 cubic
meter capacity regulating tank with specialized formwork for
columns, walls and roof panels. The work involved about 11850
cubic meters of concrete work and 2000 tons of rebar fabrication
and installation. Work has been completed as per approved construction
schedule.
Oilfield Services at Ghani Oilfields for Harouge Oil Operations
Electro-mechanical, mechanical, electrical and civil works
at various stations at Ghani oilfields as follows; a. Preventive
maintenance of Storage Tanks ST 222, ST 401, ST 701 and St 201
at Ghani & Zenad Stations.
Oilfield Services at Amal Oilfields
Preventive maintenance of Storage Tanks and Pipe Lines at
various stations in Amal Oilfields as follows; a. Surge Tank,
Settling Tank, and Gas Boot at Station 3 b. Surge Tank, Settling
Tank, and Gas Boot at Station 7
Construction of 2 Pump Stations and 3 Turnout Head Works
Al-Nahr Company (fully owned by The Great man-made River
Authority)
Pump Stations with an average area of 5,000 sq meters 6 meter
deep. The 3 Turn out Head works are 3 meter deep below grade
reinforced concrete structures with a control room on the ground
floor. The project required approximately 5000 cubic meters
of cast in place concrete and approximately 600 Tons of Steel
reinforcements
Construction of Heavy Equipment Workshop
Veba Oil Operations. (Petro Canada)
The project comprises of a 7.5m eaves height steel structure
building with 22m span and two overhead cranes. The lean to
section comprises of engine repair workshops, stores, kitchens,
washrooms and offices. The facility is equipped with oil dispensers,
tyre repair facilities, compressed air network, vacuum suction
network, fire alarm systems, smoke alarm systems and fire fighting
facilities.
Construction of North Accommodation Blocks
The scope of work comprised of design and construction of
five new accommodation blocks at AMAL oil field. In addition
to the structural design and construction of buildings, the
work also included design and installation of HVAC system, telephone,
electrical, general and emergency lighting, sanitary and waste
water system, potable water system, fire water, fire fighting
and fire alarm systems.
Provision of Technical Services to Libyan Iron & Steel Company
Provision of highly skilled Engineers, Specialists, Plant
Operators and Technicians in the Operations Deptt, Maintenance
Deptt, Direct Reduction Plant and the Flat Mill.
Construction of 177 Farm tanks at Tarhuna
Al-Nahr Company Limited (Fully owned by The Great Man-Made
River Authority)
The project comprises construction of 177 farm tanks for
the water supply and irrigation network. The tanks are made
of reinforced concrete, 300mm thick walls and are cast in place
at various locations along the network.
Construction and repair of Amal Airport
Veba Oil Operations. (Petro Canada)
The project comprises construction and repair of an airport
at Amal oilfields. Modifications were also done to the Aviation
Fuel system. The repair work included rehabilitation of the
existing runway strip, 7000 meters of crack widening, routing
and filling with specially designed sealant, milling and dispensing
machines for extreme climates.
